This work is included as part of our field and desk based services but we also undertake stand alone projects either individually or as part of a wider, multi-disciplinary team.

Computer Aided Design (CAD): we can offer a range of CAD services including 3D design. Alongside our field survey methodology this means that we can provide detailed and accurate topographic and buildings drawings at any scale according to your requirements.

Geographic Information Systems (GIS): these are increasingly becoming a key tool within the heritage industry, allowing a range of different types of spatial and text based data to be combined together and searched quickly and comprehensively. Archaeo-Environment can provide support throughout the various stages of your project from the initial GIS specification right through to completion.

Database design and construction: often forming part of a GIS, we can provide an integrated relational database to handle all your project data efficiently and cost effectively. Again, primarily aimed at heritage management, this will ensure that you have flexible and secure baseline data which can be easily reviewed and updated. This is important for the long-term management of a site, aiding in regular condition reviews and maintenance scheduling.
